bplanned & surveyed successfully obtained approval for this retirement village in the Redlands Local Government area. The proposed Retirement Village is for 174 units and will provide a range of semi-dependent living units and semi-dependent living apartments for seniors in Ormiston and surrounding suburbs. The facility will not only provide administrative, lifestyle and communal facilities but includes spaces for health and wellness activities, and is designed to promote ‘ageing in place’ by providing varying levels of care within the one development.

Although the Development Application was Impact Assessable and there were several significant planning, engineering and environmental issues to overcome on the site and with proposed design, the project was approved in approximately 8 months.

We successfully demonstrated to Council that changes to national legislation meant that the proposed development qualified for a reduction in infrastructure charges in the order of $1.5million.
