This 25 unit multiple dwelling development is located in the heart of Nundah in close proximity to the Nundah train station and Oxenham Park. The developer wanted to gain the highest possible yield out of the site and minimise costs associated with excavation of car parking. In consultation with the architects we developed a plan to facilitate the construction of a 6 storey building, in a maximum 5 storey area, whilst addressing issues associated with overlooking, overshadowing and deep planting. We successfully demonstrated to Council that a 6 storey building would not result in adverse impacts to adjoining properties and in doing so increased the development yield.
