Cannon Hill Anglican College | Master Plan And Ministerial Infrastructure Designation

bplanned & surveyed has lodged several development applications on behalf of Cannon Hill Anglican College (CHAC) for large and small projects across the campus. After identifying the need for a long-term master plan for the College, bplanned suggested that a better approach to lodging piecemeal individual development applications was to lodge a Ministerial Infrastructure Designation, or MID. Using this process, the school was able to secure a 15 year master plan (called a Plan of Designation) which allows all proposed structures to be delivered through nothing more than a building approval. 

The MID also has the added advantage of not attracting any infrastructure charges. The result is huge time and cost savings for the school as well as certainty that the projects the school needs to deliver can happen with minimal bureaucratic intervention.
